Active Beats specialises in both Fitness & Entertainment. We strive to make any event/session fun and enjoyable for everyone whether you're taking part in one of our fitness sessions or in the crowd at an event.
Active Beats Fitness facilitates multiple group fitness sessions around Melbourne including Teacher Fit programs, Kids Fit incursions, Boxfit, Bootcamp, Metafit as well as corporate team building sessions.

Founder MC/DJ & Fitness Manager
Steve Tabone has been in the events/promotional industry for over 15 years. A very experienced event MC who can think on his feet and bring a range of knowledge with making sure an event runs smoothly. He can also double up as a DJ / MC.

ELLEN
MC & PERSONAL TRAINER
Ellen is very bubbly and her energy on the mic is infectious. She loves getting fans excited and in the right mood. She has hosted many events around Australia including some alongside musical artists, The Color Run, Multiple Fun Runs, Stadium Stomp, Ironman Triathlons plus many more. Her experience in front of the camera expands across AFL, NBL and many more. Ellen also knows how to control a room and has hosted many corporate events, AFL functions on a regular basis for multiple AFL clubs.

Her MC passion comes from her experience within the TV/Film industry working on shows such as X-Factor, House Rules as part of the production team.
​
Ellen is a qualified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor (loves HIIT and boxing). Ellen believes that good old food and exercise can be our key players in helping initiate change but its our mind and thoughts that create fear that can stop us achieving our goals. Once we work on this, an achievable easier life can be found.
Outside of work, Ellen loves to snowboard whenever the chance arises.
She is full of life and ready to go any time!!

Trav Roebuck is a passionate, highly motivated, creative, reliable, innovative, punctual, and commercially astute Radio professional, who has been in the entertainment/events/promotional industry for 15 years. Operating across three individual local markets (Perth, Sydney and Melbourne) and over 60 markets nationally, Trav has over 11 years experience working for an industry leading media organisation in SCA, working with some of the most successful shows in Australian radio history, in both on air, content creation and producing roles, including Hamish and Andy, Dan and Maz, Kyle and Jackie O and the Hot 30 Countdown. He is also a NIDA graduate.

Nick has been hosting events for over 5 years now. His great personality really makes the event one to remember.
His skills on the mic have developed over the years and knows exactly how to get a crowd involved including MCing the Triple M Main stage at the 2023 AFL Grand Final.

Nick has had experience also working for Melbourne Radio station Fox Fm and Triple M where he is always giving 100% to make the event the best it could be. Having done quite a few events in his 5 years at the radio station, he knows the right recipe to get people to enjoy themselves.
CHELSEA

Chelsea is a vibrant and enthusiastic presenter who loves sharing positive moments and creating incredible experiences for audiences.

Fuelled by her love of sport, public speaking and writing, Ash studied on-campus at Charles Sturt University, NSW, graduating with a BA in Broadcast Journalism.
Ash has also completed grades 1-8 Public Speaking Skills examinations, certified by Guildhall School of Music and Drama, in conjunction with extensive public speaking and voiceover training.
In addition to having a passion for sports, Ash is organised, detail-orientated, and a reliable professional who takes pride in consistently delivering high-quality content.

John aka DJ Scooter has jumped onboard with Active Beats as an experienced DJ who is a regular on Fox FM and Triple M events. Regular Marvel Stadium DJ throughout the AFL season for Active Beats.
He loves music and has dedicated his career to DJ many events around Australia.

His passion for music and his amazing personality gets dance floors up and about anywhere he goes.

Chris (aka Apples) has an incredible passion for music and creates an awesome vibe that leaves people wanting more! Chris is a multi instrumentalist and as such brings a unique way of seamlessly mixing your favourite tracks together.
You've probably seen or heard Apples somewhere, whether he's rocking a dance floor at a Wedding, providing epic sports anthems at the MCG, Marvel Stadium or John Cain Arena or hyping up the crowd at the FIBA World cup qualifiers or Run Melbourne just to name a few.
Apples just wants to make sure every event he is on is the best event he has ever done. The dedication to prepping for an event is second to none and will make sure all the T’s are crossed and i’s are dotted.

Samantha is always reliable and understands the tasks that are given to her.

She has grown over the years under the mentorship of the team at Active Beats which has led her to DJ and MC some major events in Victoria like AFL Live Site for Collingwood on Grand Final Day, Marvel Stadium DJ during the AFL season, Netball game day DJ and plenty more.

She also loves DJing weddings and seeing people come together to celebrate.
